Strategic Plan

In 2018, HUB’s Management Team diligently worked to identify and quantify the areas we need to expand or improve upon in order to become the best public utility possible. Improvements such as implementing an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) will allow us added flexibility in managing customer accounts and interruptions in service. Additionally, replacement of aging infrastructure and improvements to our existing systems are vital in maintaining our high quality of service. These, and many other changes aimed at fulfilling our mission of enhancing our community through exceptional service require a consistent, intentional approach. In January 2019, HUB formally adopted an ambitious 5-Year Strategic Plan incorporating input from all departments, and approved by our Board of Directors. More than just a “to-do” list, the Strategic Plan features key details, milestones, and responsibilities that are further explained in an annual Tactical Action Plan, which will be updated each and every year.
