Strategic Plan

In 2018, HUB’s Management Team diligently identified the areas we needed to expand or improve in order to become the best public utility possible. Innovations—such as implementing an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)—will provide added flexibility in managing customer accounts and addressing service interruptions. Additionally, replacing aging infrastructure and upgrading our existing systems are critical steps in maintaining our high quality of service.

These changes, and many others aimed at fulfilling our mission to enhance our community through exceptional service, require a consistent, intentional approach. In January 2019, HUB formally adopted an ambitious 5-Year Strategic Plan that incorporated input from all departments and received approval from our Board of Directors.

More than just a “to-do” list, the Strategic Plan outlines key details, milestones, and responsibilities. These elements are further elaborated in an annual Tactical Action Plan, which is updated every year to ensure we stay on track and continually improve our services.
